This TR3 is owned and raced by Mike Jackson. It was transformed from a neglected street car to a vintage race car over 12 years ago. It was a semi-famous street-race car during the golden age of vintage racing in Florida. Classic Auto Racing Enthusiasts (CARE) sponsored support races for all the major pro races in Florida at the time; Indycars at Miami, IMSA at the Miami GP, ST Pete GP, Palm Beach GP among others. It was the 2 liter class champion for 3 years before the organization folded due to lack of sponsorship...the rich guy that started it ran out of dough! It races now with every major organization east of the Mississippi from Road America, Watkins Glen and Mosport, to Daytona, Sebring and Homestead.
